No solutions were found yet for the new collective agreements

Negotiations took place on Tuesday in the workers’ and the salaried employee’s agreements in the Technology Industry. The negotiations in the collective agreement between Technology Industries of Finland and Industrial Union has come the furthest.

The views in the salary settlement between Employer’s Association and the Industrial Union are far away from each other. There are no conditions for the resumption of the negotiations at this stage. Hopefully the parties can return to the negotiation table as soon as possible, says Jarkko Ruohoniemi, CEO of Technology Industry Employer’s Association.

According to Ruohoniemi there’s a lot of uncertainties concerning the economic situations, which is an important matter when talking about the salary settlement.  One should not make the same old mistakes again.
