SAK: Labor actions at technology industry as well
The Central Organization of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK) announced on Thursday, September 21, that they would commence organizational actions against Prime Minister Petteri Orpo's government's labor market reforms. These measures have been carried out for three days a week over a period of three weeks.
The action days began on Tuesday, September 26. Industrial Union and Trade Union Pro organized one-hour-long walk-outs in Technology Industries member companies.
SAK has stated that the "style of these isolated protests varies from walk-outs to various demonstrations." The actions of member unions will be published collectively at www.sak.fi/liittotoimet. Currently, there is no information on whether new actions are planned for the technology industry.
