The strikes in technology industry will begin on Wednesday
The work stoppages that were previously announced by the Industrial Union, the Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff YTN and the Trade Union Pro will begin on Wednesday. National Conciliator Anu Sajavaara and Conciliator Jukka Ahtela still tried to solve the labor disputes on Tuesday but the conciliation did not lead to a settlement.
The Industrial Union also announced of a third work stoppage and the Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff YTN of a second work stoppage, both due to begin on 15 February. These announcements were given today. Trade Union Pro has previously announced of a third work stoppage that is due to begin on 11 February.
This means that the trade unions have announced of a series of strikes. The next work stoppages announced by the Industrial Union and Trade Union Pro threaten to begin on 8 February.
